Church & Ministry - On The Road 2014 - a year in review...

In 2014, Women's Ministries Victoria travelled around our State to meet up with men and women to talk about Biblical Manhood and Womanhood.   We celebrated our first day at Drouin with the Gippsland Presbytery in February, and had a wonderful day, learning, sharing and encouraging each other.  The only disappointment was that there weren't more men there, but we were working on that!

Our speaker for these days was Rev Douglas Milne who took us briefly through the OT and into the NT on this topic (you can find his article on this issue in the resources section).  We learned so much, and we want you to be a part of that too.  It wasn't a lecture but a call to men and women to embrace God's plan for each of us as He designed us to be.

One of the important aspects of this day for WMV was hearing from the women themselves, to see if there is any way we can help encourage them by addressing issues that are important for them at this time.  Some of the outcomes from this were in the areas of Mentoring and Relationships, and what God says about these things in His Word.

So, to begin to address some of these issues, we are continually adding resources to take a look at, some podcasts that can be downloaded and listened to, arcticles that you can sit and read through, and other book resources that come recommended.  We hope these are helpful.

Stay tuned for updates...
